How To Treat Frequent Heart Palpitation?

I started having heart palpitations 2 days before my period and have now continued for the 5th day. I had palpitations a couple months ago. An EKG and heart monitor both came back fine. I am 52 1/2, on the pill, and pre-menopausal. The last time I had these, my active Vitamin B was too high, so the Dr. told me to stop taking the B complex. Any suggestions what this could be?

Hi
Thank you for sharing with HCM
I read your query and understand your concern
Palpitations are bothering but not risky so you don't have to worry too much
You should avoid caffeine and energy drinks
Avoid chocolates
Use chamomile tea oftenly
Avoid B Complex but I don't think those two thinks are related
In my opinion hormonal changes (menstrual cycle ) or emotive changes are the most often factors leading to palpitations
If symptoms persist check thyroid function (hormonal dosage T3,T4 and TSH)
Wish you good health and fast recovery
Feel free to contact me further questions or queries
