How To Treat Granduloma In Lungs, liver And Spleen?
Back in dec. 2013 I had a test to recheck a small calcified granduloma in my lung. They found them in my liver and spleen also. Now for several months I feel every breath and my liver area is hard to the touch and it hurts all the time. I take meds for severe pain which contains tylenol. I also have lupus. What do you think about this?
Thanks for your question on HCM. In my opinion you should get done FNAC (Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology) from any of the granuloma, if possible from lung. Because in SLE immunosuppressive drugs are given. So high chances of chronic infection. And among these TB is most common. So tissue diagnosis by FNAC is mandatory. FNAC will also helpful in rule out other possibilities. 1. Fungal infection 2. sle itself 3. Rare possibility of malignancy. So better to go for FNAC for proper diagnosis.
