How To Treat Hair Root Pain Soreness And Sensitivity While Diagnosed With Fibromyalgia?

I have hair root pain. Seems to be localized to the crown/top area only. It does intensify if my hair is dirty. I have had a lot of hair loss over the last year and I think that s when the hair root pain started. I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia but I don t believe it as that is a last alternative Dx when nothing can be found. I have bouts of being deficient in Vitamin D. I had a scalp biopsy as the Dermatologist said it s sometimes a symptom of lupus. That test came back negative and showed that there were many follicles in the catagen stage. I just don t understand why my scalp hurts so bad whenever my hair is moved. One hair moving is felt with soreness. Pain is as if I had a bruise on my scalp, sore to the touch, very sensitive. Also, pulling on my hair for a short length of time seems to relieve the pain for a bit. Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,Welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears to be the cellulitis of the scalp, may be secondary to the fungal infection, dandruff, and not responding due to the anemia.
I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment of any generalised diseases.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms ofloxacin, ornidazole, fluconazole, serratiapeptidase.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods to have blood, good health and resistance against the infections.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
