How To Treat Hard Lump On The Knee After ACL Reconstruction Using Hamstring?

After having Acl Reconstruction using the hamstring on my knee 2 years ago, I have noticed a hard lump on the same knee below my patella that is about the size of a golf ball and is rather painful. it gets worse with activity and I have no clue what it is! could you help me out?

Hello,
I have studied your case and I think that it can be either due to screw or non absorbable sutures. Still you should not ignore it and you need to contact doctor who has operated your knee.
If there is screw than you can get it removed since it is already enough time has passed and there is no need to keep this screw now.
If it is suture material than also it can be removed. Some time it can be inflammatory tissue or bursa.
In any case you should not wait and watch as it can cause problem in future. your infection can et spread in the knee joint. I hope this answer will be helpful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
