Hello madam, after going through your description of headache patterns and symtoms I think this is probably tension headache. Which commonly occurs in post menopausal women due to stress, loss of sleep and harmonal imbalance. However I suggest you to visit a neurologist to rule out other causes of headache which r most likely to trouble people of your profile, and also look for many assosiated symptoms like blurring of vision, vomiting, photophobia, diplopia etc and also get few investigations like CT brain, EEG etc and prescibe suitable drugs which you can get from pharmacy only with suitable prescrption from concerned doctor. Tension headache is less likely to subside with usual analgesics and anti inflammatory preparations. Hope my advice helped you.
