How To Treat Hearing Problems (continuous Whispering Sound) Caused By Overuse Of Earphones?

Hi,
My name is akshit an i am 16 years old. Over te past few months, i've discovered that sometimes, i can't hear soft sounds like someone whispering. I also have some listening problems while chewing my food or massaging my head. I have been using a lot of earphones lately. Could you please help me with it and suggest me something to get back my normal hearing?i've had absolutely no problems in the past.

I have gone through your query regarding cont whispering sound in your ear and having some impairment in hearing.

By analyzing your complaints it appears as you are suffering from TINNITUS. There are lot of causes of developing tinnitus and sound pollution is one of them. Here one thing I would like to clear you that head phone is not a problem but hearing loud music for a long time will give the same impact as sound pollution and in this way one may develop loss of hearing and tinnitus.

To manage it you are advice for these basic investigations-

1- Pure Tone Audiometry.

2- Impedance Audiometry.

These investigations will help us in detecting type and severity of hearing loss so that your further line of treatment may be decided.
