Hi, my wife is suffering from indigestion frequently. She has back pain due to this. If she takes ESO Gard she is fine for few days. But it keeps coming back. Now she complains that she does feel hungry and find no taste in food.. Please advise what is wrong with her.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The underlying cause of indigestion is a matter of concern and it needs to be ruled out. Sometime it could be an infection, second, it could be due to hyperacidity. If I would be a doctor of this case then I would try to treat this case with tab Metronidazole, tab Omeprazole and Domperidone.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Akhtarhusain
