How To Treat Inflammation Around Borders Of Lips And Commissures Of Lips?

I am a registered dental hygienist. The last week I have been suffering with an inflammation around the borders of my lips and it has spread to the commissures of my lips (especially the left side). Is there an over-the-counter treatment I could get for this? Or how could I treat it?

thanks for your query,
the features what you are telling looks like angular chelitis means a fungal infection...it can be because of the decreased vertical dimension of it can be because of nutritional deficiency, or decreased immunity..you can take a symptomatic treatment by using topical anesthetics and do complete hemogram to rule out anemia...consult a dentist to rule out occlusion...
