How To Treat Irritated Small Spots On Inner Thigh While Having Diabetes?

my name is Shane and I m a diabetic. I m 34 years old and seems to be in good health. Couple days ago I notice a small spot in my inner left thigh that wasno larger than a pebble. from overnight transformed into some sort ofsomething that gets irritated when it gets touched! The coloring around it is all red and the actual spot now is dark purple and black. Its not crusty and I want to make sure its not a blood clot. What do you think this could be.

Hello
Thank you for posting on HCM
From your description, it seems you have got Tinea cruris, a sort of fungal skin infection.
I would recommend you consult a dermatologist for proper management.
I generally recommend proper course of oral antifungal drug like fluconazole / itraconazole along with local application of sertaconazole or luliconazole cream over affected areas.
Take oral antihistaminics for itching as required.
Hope this will take care of your problem
Thank you
