How To Treat Irritating And Swollen Anal Skin Tag?
HI, I have an anal skin tag that is irritated and swollen, I was wondering if you have any advice on how to settle it down? It has been fine for years and only in the past few months has it started to get irritated regularly. After a bowel movement I usually wash in the bath tub to make sure it is clean. I cannot sit or walk or sleep. I am using a topical steroid to help called Dermol and an ice pack at the end of the day to help with the pain.

Would recommend you to take a course of an oral antibiotic like tablet Cephalexin twice daily and apply topical steroid antibiotic cream like cortisone and Neosporin ointment on the affected area twice daily for 7-10 days.
