How To Treat Itching Due To Thrush?

Hi, I went and saw my GP because I thought I had recurrent thrush, I had a pap smear but the results won't be ready till Monday but I'm going crazy waiting. I'm been itchy for a week now without discharge and no relief despite being on the anti-candida diet for 4 days, garlic capsules, dida anti-fungal supplements, probiotics and canestan cream. The cream doesn't seem to be working - at night I'm still itchy, haven't slept more than a couple hours a night in a week. It seems to be relatively okay during the day but flares at night, why is this and is it thrush?
