Hello, Thank you for posting on HCM. It seems you have contact irritant dermatitis due to chemicals used for waxing. Usually treatment is straight forward but you need to consult a dermatologist to rule out underlying secondary infection. In my patients, i generally suggest a short course of oral corticosteroids to reduce inflammation and itching. Oral antibiotics and analgesics may be added as required. Apply a cream containing mid potent steroid like mometasone and fusidic acid twice a day over affected areas for atleast 7 days. Take antihistaminics for itching as required.
