Any suggestion s to what this might be? Thankyou for your time. Holly S
Hi there Holly. I read your history & precise clinical description & compliment you on the same. You may want to consider the possibility of a fungal infection. To confirm the same, you may have to book an appointment with a dermatologist & get a skin scraping done (which is a minor test). Alternatively, I suggest trying out a 2% ketoconazole cream applied locally twice daily on the lesions for about a week or 10 days & see the clinical response. If it disappears, all is well. If not, once again a visit to the dermatologist in order & perhaps a skin biopsy to rule out anything else. Cheers & Godspeed! Dr Praveen Rodrigues MD
