How To Treat Itchy Scalp?
I have been having an itchy area on my head, left side behind the ear and also headaches which I attributed to my high blood pressure. This morning as I started to scratch that area I noticed an indention running from behind my ear to the top of my head.on both sides. I have been dehydrated also . I am seventy years old, female. The symptoms seem to be related to seborrheic dermatitis.
In mild cases, a topical antifungal cream or medicated shampoo (such as ketoconazole) may be enough to control symptoms.
You can also use an antihistamine such as Cetirizine 10 mg to relieve the itching.
