How To Treat Itchy Sore On Head Top?

I have sores on top my head they itch bad they keep gettin bigger n circles. I have to have my boyfriend pull the scabs BC they feel to tight. I do feel sumn crawling under my scalpi its drivin me crazy I find lil black specks were I ve bn sitting I swear there s sumn alive n there plz help

Hi,

I can understand your concern for itchy sore on head top. It appears that the area got secondarily infected.

You should meet your treating doctor to get proper diagnosis. Do not try to even touch or pinch the area as can cause more aggravation of the problem and spread of the infection. This area is quite common to get infected very easily because of sweating and high bacterial proliferation.

I suggest you to go for culture and sensitivity of the wound to know the exact organism causing the infection. For time being period you can apply antibiotic cream such as fucidin or mupirocin and take pain killer tablets such diclofenac or paracetamol.
