How To Treat Keratin Horns On The Head Oozing Brown Sludge?

My mother in law has a growth on her scalp. It’s said keratin horn but it is now covering her he’d, front to back, from just right of midline to halfway down the left side. 1 section is almost 3” high and 2” around. It is now oozing a brown sludge and blood. To be blunt, it looks like dried poop and flakes off. She won’t leave house somwhat do I do?She is almost 92 and in hospice/respite care but constantly complains of head pain from this. Any ideas?
