How To Treat Large Lump On Top Of Hand, Bruising In Palm In Between Fingers After Punching Wall?

I punched a wall with my right hand 5 days ago and noticed a large lump on the top of my hand. My wife compressed it and it popped back down. My hand was extremely swollen until yesterday and i have bruising in the palm of my hand, in between my fingers, next to my pinky and along my wrist. What do you think happened?

Hi
I think you should get an x ray wrist and hand to rule out fracture.
If it is normal then it may be simple bruise which will take 3 wks to recover you should wear wrist immobiliser or below elbow cast for a week till swelling subsides.
And do ice application and keep the hand elevated.
Get well soon.
Thank you.
