How To Treat Laryngitis?

I strained my voice 2.5 mths ago and have seen several doctors and also an ENT doctor only to be told that it is a strained voice and I have to see a speach therapist is there any other option to talk normal again. I have to talk all day at work and hardly any voice isnt good for business

hello, thanks for your query, voice abuse, smoking, alcohol, aid reflex disease , throid problem, growths of larynx. can cause hoarseness of voice. as such absolute voice rest, steam inhalation, speech therapy will help. in case of active infection( laryngitis) u need to take simple antibiotic course and nasal decongest. in case of acid peptic disease u need to take ppi drugs after consulting an ent surgeon . all the best. take care.
