Hello,

With such presentation in my clinic I will keep two differential diagnosis Pityrosporum folliculitis and truncal acne. P. folliculitis is a type of fungal infection of hair follicles which presents as tiny red and yellow bumps. Truncal acne are pimples on chest, shoulder and back. I would prescribe Benzoyl peroxide 5% lotion to apply on back half an hour before bath alternate days.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
