How To Treat Lump On Head In A 11 Months Old Child?

My 11month old daughter has a lump on the side of her head witch feels soft like fluid. I noticed this about a week ago. What is it and how would it be removed? I have been to the hospital and they say it's not coz of a fall but not sure what this is.

Usually it would be soft tissue swelling. Unlikely to be pus if she is not running temperature. Only one question...if its been there from early infancy or if its in mid line. It could be a dermoid. Kindly see a plastic surgeon if in doubt.
