How To Treat Lump On Left Side Of Throat With White Dot?

Hello, I ve had a lack of energy for the last week and a half, and for the past 3/4 days I ve had a lump on the left side of my throat with a white dot, followed by hot and cold spells everyday and I ve been taking paracetomol and penicillin Do I need to worry?

Hi, the lump in the throat with a white dot will most probably be a tonsil with debris in the tonsillar crypt. The reason can also be an infection in the tonsil with pus point presenting as white dot. Please use antiseptic gargles and analgesic/antipyretics and if a fever comes, antibiotics in consultation with an ENT. Regards
