I have melasma caused during pregnancy. Been 02 years but the pigmentation still exists, i used melacare, kojivit ultra as per dermatologist s advice and still on treatment but kindly suggest some good cream as i am going under laser treatment and dermabrasion since past six months but to no use . My skin is patchy and looks very dull
Melasma is a chronic and recurrent skin condition...First of all i advice you a strict sunprotection on a daily basis by using a broad spectrum sunscreen with a SPF 30 or more...i suggest you to try some systemic antipigmentary agents like Tranexemic acid, glutathione, L-cysteine peptide etc. alongwith topical therapy...chemilcal peels and nd-yag laser are also one of the promised treatment option...Along with treatment dont forget to moisturise your skin...Inrease you fruits and vegetable intake rice in antioxidant, vitamin and minerals...hope it would help
