How To Treat Menstrual Irregularity?

i have not had a period this month and i have a sharp pain in my left hand side, have done a pregnacy test but negative. I am 42 and had a miscarrage last year,the same thing happened last year , did some pregnacy tests all negative, then later found out i was pregnant.
please help

Hi,

I think you l should repeat the pregnancy test after 2 more weeks to finally confirm if you are pregnant or not. If not then first I would suggest you to have a course of medroxyprogesterone tablet for 5 days. Wait for periods to occur and after your periods start, start a course of birth control pill for 3 months.
