How To Treat Menstrual Irregularity?

i took pills for 3mos, then my doc ask me to take ovamit in my 3rd day cycle, my last period was sept 29 2012 until now i didnt get my period, my doc said im going to have my period on oct 24 until now no period, i check pt on oct 27 but still negative

Hi

The cause of menstrual irregularity should be identified.Hormonal imbalance is the main cause of such irregular periods. Polycystic ovaries,hypothyroidism,insulin resistance should be ruled out.

I would suggest you to take pelvic ultrasound,Thyroid test and blood sugar levels to rule out the above causes.Nutritional deficiencies like anemia should also be ruled out.

Treatment of the cause is essential to completely control your symptoms and regularise your cycles.
