hi, im currently taking Perle Ld and i have about 2 red tablets left and havent seen my period yet. my period came about the 6th of october and i began taking perle the day after.... i was wondering if the red pills should finish before my period begins

Hi,

While using the contraceptive pills sometimes menstrual irregularities can be seen like delayed periods, absence of periods, intermenstrual spotting, etc.

If you are using the pills for contraception purpose you have to start the next pack immediately after the completion of last pill of the 28 days pack so that the contraceptive benefit can be continued.

If you are using the pills for regularization of the menstrual cycle, after completion of the last pill, you can wait for the onset of the menstrual period and can start the new pack from the second day of the periods.
