How To Treat Nasal Congestion In Infant That Has Not Improved Even After Taking Antihistamine?
Hi, my 8 month old had a cold two weeks back and recovered quite fast. But about a week ago he started having a congested nose. We used a nasal drop and as his nose didnt improve weconsulted a doctor and our son was given an antihistamine. its been 3 days now his nose hasn't improved and remains congested. He also had a low grade fever in the morning today as well as watery eyes. What should I do?

I really appreciate your concern for your child, anti-histamine only works when there is much release of histamine in body that causes some symptoms, otherwise this wont work, congestion will be relive with it own in this age group, just stop giving all the medicine just take care of fever and hydration, every thing will be alright take care of your kid bye
