How To Treat Pain And Itchiness During Urination After A Safe Sex?

I just lost my virginity recently. I ve had sex at least 9 more times all with a condom. About a week ago i felt like i had to pee (like a UTI) and it hurt but i ignored it. And just yesterday it happened again. I just went to an urgent care and they said my urine looks normal. They are sending it out for a culture. My vagina also itches around where i pee, no where else. I m scared it may be an STI, and i really want an answer right away. Could it be an allergic reaction to latex? my mom is allergic to it so i m not sure what to think and i havent talked to her about it yet.

Hello dear,
I understand your concern.
In my opinion the itchiness could be due to urinary tract infection(UTI).

UTI is very commonly seen after intercourse in the initial days.

Certain precautions like washing the genitals and passing urination by both the partners before and after the intercourse prevent the UTI.

It might not be due to allergy to latex condom because if that was the case the itchiness of vulva is present throughout the day but not just only during the urination.

In case of any sexually transmitted infections (STD) there can be local lesions or altered vaginal discharge etc.

As per your information you dont have any such complaints.

So i suggest you to rule out UTI and wait and check for the urine culture report.

Nothing to worry.

Take adequate fluids upto 2-3 litres to prevent UTI.

And abstain from sex till the symptoms decrease.

And wear loose cotton inners.

Relax.It will subside.
