im almost 5 weeks post partum after csection and my incision is still scabby?no oozing or redness or pain...i also have pain about 2 inches above my incision only when u touch like its tender still... is that normal?...oh and yellow mucousy discharge that has a yeasty smell...
Hi, thanks for writing.. Pain above the site on incision is due to injury to the nerves supplying the area and will last for 2 months. It will go off slowly. Yeast infection requires treatment immediately with antifungals and clotrimazole cream as it can ascend into uterus and can cause uterine infection. Hope I have answered your query. Good day.
