How To Treat Pain In Leg Which Looks Like A Sting?

Hi! I'm an eighteen-year-old female, about 5.5 feet tall, and around 130 pounds. I have a clear medical history, no serious problems. About 2 months ago, I was either bitten of stung by something on the back of my leg. Now, I'm experiencing pains in my leg that feel like a cross between a bruise and a sunburn, and the bite stings to the touch. I'm not sure if the leg pains are coming from the bite or not, and I'm putting an antibiotic ointment on the bite/sting to see what will happen. What do you think?
