Areola around nipple is very painful inverted nipple sagging breast 81 years old....hot water seems to help for awhile ..couldn t sleep good tonight as seems more pain when wake up on back...don t know which bra to wear .....had this areola hurting when young around periods...

It seems that you might be having some infection in areola giving this trouble.
But as there is inverted nipple, it requires through breast examination to find any lump or any deep seated infection.
Mammography will give more clue about your problem.
consult Gynaec and get your both breasts thoroughly examined.
Wear loos bra and avoid wearing tight bra.
Ok and take care.
