How To Treat Pigmentation On The Lower Lips?

I am 22 years old female,height - 5 feet
weight - 50 kg
I have got pigmentation on my lower lips since the last 3 months. I used to apply lemon juice on my lips daily for about 30-60 mins but stopped since it doesn't seem to be helping. My friend told me that my hormones are imbalanced. What does that mean ? My medical history is just fine.

Thank You So Much !

Hi

Since your main concern is regarding pigmentation of the lips, I would like to tell you that only some improvement can be expected with treatment .
You need to apply a mild lightening agent like kojic acid over the affected areas twice a day .
In addition, you should use a sunscreen regularly before going out in the sun .
Eat a diet rich in fresh citrus fruits and salads .
