How To Treat Poison Ivy Caused Itchy, Swollen Penis With Pores?

Okay, I m in a pretty crappy situation. I m pretty sure I have poison ivy I m itching my brains out, but the worst part is it is on my penis. The symptoms: swollen beyond belief, so so so so itchy, redness, and lots of pores. Need some help FAST. Thank you.

Hello,

You are suffering from itching, swollen penis after coming in contact with poison ivy. If you come into contact with poison ivy, be sure to wash the affected area with soap and water as soon as possible to remove the oil that causes the reaction. Unless the resin from poison ivy is still on the skin, it is not transmitted from person to person. Wash thoroughly.

Try to keep the affected area clean and dry. Cool compresses and applying calamine lotion are helpful. To prevent itching you can apply hydrocortisone cream on the area affected for relief. Taking antihistamines orally is helpful, take it once daily for 5 days. Get clinically examined by a GP, you may be recommended /prescribed to take Prednisone orally. You should get relief, if not get clinically examined by a Dermatologist or visit ER and get it treated.
