Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of red raised bumpy throat which is due to tonsillitis/upper respiratory tract infection. It seems to be due to bacterial infection. Need not to worry. You should maintain oral hygiene. Do warm saline gargles. You should take sips of warm water on frequent basis. You should avoid hot, sharp and spicy food substances. I would suggest you to visit ENT specialist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription. Get blood and sputum tests done. You should take proper course of antibiotic such as Amoxicillin along with antiinflammatory medication. You should take diet rich in fruits and vegetables and avoid cold carbonated beverages.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
