I have sinusitis and have recently been referred to an ENT. Today, I went for a routine eye exam and doctor told me I have retinal hemorrhage in left eye. I do not have high blood pressure or diabetes. I m a 39 year old healthy female. Could the two issues be related? How concerned should I be?
Hello It seems from the history that you are having retinal hemorrhage. Your ENT problem is not related to retinal hemorrhage. Retinal hemorrhage is seen in systemic diseases like diabetes or hypertension or follows trauma. Hence this requires evaluation to find out the cause. The treatment is required in cases with vitreous hemorrhage or involvement of macula. Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly. Thank you
