My right ear feels like it's blocked by a bubble or something. Been this way for nearly a week. I've tried pinching my nose and "breathing out" to try and pop my ears but it doesn't help. All I did was burst a blood vessel in my nose :( When I swallow I hear it crackle in my ear. I am in the UK if that helps when talking about medical brands or treatments.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have right ear blockage which could be due to ear infection and meniere's disease . . But in your case the infection has spread to the ear through eustachian tube form either upper respiratory track infection or post nasal drip . The cracking sound is due to blockage of eustachian tube blockage , also known as eustachian tube dysfunction . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order test like CT scan , throat swab test and vital culture test . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics , decongestant and mucolytic agent .Also doctor may prescribe antiemetic drug and sedatives for tinnitus .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
