I am a 16 year old female and ever since I can remember I have had a high pitch ringing in my ears. I have allways thought it was normal till I asked my mom if she could hear it to, and she said no. When I was younger I got a lot of ear infections but never have been hit in the head. What is the ringing and is there a way to make it go away it is louder than some people talking?
It is possible that the infections may have damaged your inner ear and this may cause the ringing sensation. i would like you to meet your ent doctor for confirming this , he will do a hearing test on you and guide you further.dont worry , you will be fine.
Thanks
