How To Treat Schizophrenia While On Seriquil Xr 600mg,ambien 10mg And Klonipin 1mg?
my dad is on 600 mg of seriquil xr ans 10 mg of ambien ans 1 mg of klonipin...he has been hearing voices they took him off of thorizine about a month ago we see a doctor tomorrow...he is scitzophrenia or thats what they said years ago...and he has been having headaches,,,is that a lot of meds?...do you have any suggestion

Of the three medicines, only Seroquel will help in his psychotic symptoms. Ambien is for sleep only. Klonopin will help calm his mind, reduce anxiety and promote sleep. His dose of Seroquel is still not maximum and can be hiked if he tolerates it well. That may help to control the hallucinations. If Seroquel cannot be hiked further, his doctor may consider adding another anti-psychotic to improve the response. Please do not worry. He is not on too many medicines.
