I am 42. Recently, I have been having problems with my stomach before and after my cycle. I used to get bad cramps. Now u get a sick feeling stomach. It seems like I always feel uncomfortable and need to eat something. I burp more than usual and do not feel satisfied when I eat. My stomach feels somewhat warm inside and nausea. This has been going on for about three monthly cycles.
Hello, Thanks for sharing your health concern with us. Your symptoms suggest a recent change in constitution with an increase in gastric disturbances around the menstrual period. You could also be entering the perimenopausal stage considering your age. Please have a general check up to see if anything is to be done. Else, try to manage the diet by avoiding fast foods, fried and oily items and spicy food. Eat in small portions at frequent intervals 4-5 times a day. Eat easily digestible food, especially during your periods. You can take medication for gastritis which heals the symptoms. Hope this helps.
