I am 40 have had 3 kids and still look good - slim, youthful etc. The only problem I have is that after 3 kids and haemoroids after each birth I am left with skin tags around my anus which swell with blood at times and this emabarrasses me to the extent that I'm scared/paranoid about getting intimate as the problem is worse when I'm aroused. I've heard that the problem can be corrected surgically but that the recovery is not pleasant. I have had my Gp look at me and she said its a mild case but she understands where I'm coming from. My questions are, is the surgical recovery really that bad or am I worrying too much, is it really that off putting for me? Is it common enough that I won't look odd?
