How To Treat Small Dot On Hip?

I have a small dot on my hip, the size of a pin head. At first I thought it was a pimple and tried to pop it but it maintained its shape and blood squirted out the center. It does not itch. There s only one dot. I ve had it for a couple months now. My brother used to have muluscum contagiousm, but he had A LOT of them and he was always itching them and they were on his arm. Mine does not itch and it is on my hip and I only have one.

Hi,

There is a possibility of molluscum contagiosum as your brother is having. The condition is caused by a virus, there are chances to get infection. Single or multiple lesions may occur. So, consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. Extraction or electrocautery may be done by the dermatologist if it is molluscum contagiosum.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
