How To Treat Sweat Infection In My Thighs?

Hi,
I am having some infection (prob. 'coz of sweats) in my inner thighs - skin seems to have become thin. Till a year back, I used Quadriderm which I later stopped on a dermatologist's suggestion (as it contained some steroid kind of things). So am not using anything as of now. Can you please suggest a remedial measure.

thanks!

Hi,

It may be a fungal infection of groin region, due to moisture in the region as a result of excessive sweating. Quadriderm contains steroid, which may cause thinning of the skin of the area, where it is applied. Therefore, your doctor seems right in advising you to stop it. Your dermatologist may treat you for fungal infection with oral and/or local antifungal ointments, under his guidance, if your infection is diagnosed as fungal infection by your doctor.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
