six weeks ago my face swelled on both cheeks red with tiny red areas it was hot to the touch the same day I was in horrible pain in my joints and muscles . I cried with the pain and it felt like I was walking on sticks. The redness has stayed but the swelling has finally gone down. IT IS SHAPED LIKE A BUTTERFLY WINGS BUT IT ISN T RED ACROSS MY NOSE. iT GOT A LITTLE RED BUT THAT PART ;HAS FADED. TONIGHT AFTER I took a bath my face is really red and broke out again. I don t know if I need my primary doctor or see a dermantologist.
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. First of all you consider the pain of the joints,it could be due to poly arthritis. The face change could be due to the allergy, you can either consult a dermatologist ,or can try the citrizine. I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have M.R.I. for diagnosis. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms neurotropic injections for 10 consecutive days, and then periodically, ofloxacin, and mefenamic acid, and paracetamol. Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken, and sea foods till the pains are completely controlled. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
