My 6-year-old's upper rear gum (where the 6-year-old molar will grow in) appears swollen, and now has a bleeding tissue bulge coming out of it. It is not hurting her. She was playing with what she said was a cut on the gum when it started bleeding, which is slowing. The tissue coming out of the swollen gum is red and raw looking - about 1/4 - 1/3 inch long. Fourth child - none of them ever had this when their molars came in. :-)
