My daughter is 7 yrs. old. She weight - 52 lbs. She hit her forehead about 30 mins. ago. At the time she said she was seeing 3 of everything. I put ice on her forehead, now she says she is seeing double in one eye, but only 1 of everything when she puts her glasses on. Should I take her to the ER? Thank you, Pamela
Hello It seems from the history that your 7 year old daughter met with a injury and following it she is having double vision. This requires examination to rule out injury to the nerves which supply the extraocular muscles. Hence I advice you to consult your ophthalmologist for examination and treatment accordingly.
Hi May it be effect of concussion injury of brain.usually it recovers well. But if with glasses, there is no double vision , it is not be worried. After a short rest better if a eye check up be done by a specialist.
