How To Treat The Painful Microscopic Fissure Along Side The Toenail?

I have a tiny fissure along gr.toenail ( i'm NOT diabetic) (Hallux val) that won't heal....i'm 62 and also have a callus along same gr.toe from bunions (which i'm seeing a chiropracter for ). The chiropracter has adjusted my feet and taken all the "bunion" pain AWAY. However this microscopic "fisure" along side the nail is painful and won't heal.I'm using antibiotic oint. now. I would appreciate any advise.Thanks....Nan

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears to be the in growth of the sides of the tail of the great toe into the tissues of the great toe. Hence causing the pressure symptoms.
I advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
You may need to have excision of the great toe and treatment with antibiotics.
Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken, and sea foods till the pains are completely controlled.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. thank you.
