How To Treat The Sore Lump On The Top Joint Of The Index Finger?
I have a hard, sore lump on the top joint of my right index finger. I ve had it for at least three weeks and it never comes to a head. It s so sore that it interferes with the use of my finger. I ve tried to open it and there isn t a head. What is it and how do I get rid of it?
The symptoms seem to be related to a friction blister. I suggest to use loose shoes and cotton socks. I recommend to clean the feet with an antibacterial soap. I also suggest to use Petroleum jelly for local application.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
