How To Treat The Swollen And Leathery Mouth Caused After Quitting Tobacco?

I quit dipping tobacco about 3 weeks ago, my mouth feels swollen and leathery now and my throat is swollen and sore. I also am dealing with sinus problems, and i'm paranoid because I have quit dipping. Is it likely that my mouth and throat are in the healing process?

thanks for your query, i have gone through your query, the swelling in the mouth could be because of the infection in the tooth or the gums. consult a oral physician and get yourself examined and find out the causative tooth. after that you can take antibiotics. the leathery appearance of the mucosa could be because of the tobacco habit causing oral leukoplakia. for this you have to take antioxidants for one month. strictly stop the habit of tobacco usage. i hope my answer will help you. take care.
