i have a 2yr old boy who is having heel guard tightness. he walks on tip toe of one leg .i have consulted many doctors some says he is cp child others says could be physiological.and i hvae ben giving physiotherapy .sone times i feel he is becoming better any how still he is walking the same way . so i want consult a best orthopedic doctor in pediatrics and i want know the best hospital in orthopedics thank you
If the problem is present only on one side, and his other developmental milestones are normal, this need not be attributed to cerebral palsy (CP). Most likely its is a minor club foot on one side. If its still there at 2 years of age, I would suggest surgical correction after opinion of a pediatric orthopedist. Usually only a minor procedure(achilles tendon release) will be sufficient. Since you have not mentioned location, I couldn't suggest a particular doctor or hospital
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
