i m 13 years old and i walk on my tiptoes, i have done ever since i started to walk. i m teased about it a little bit and i just want to stop. i try to walk normally but after a while i forget and tiptoe. i get a lot of pain in my feet and it hurts the balls of my feet when i jump. i ve had foot exercises before but they only worked for a short amount of time, what do i do?
You have to be evaluated for spasm of gastronemius muscle or short tendon or developmental problems or delayed mile stones etc. If no abnormalities found then you may undergo physiotherapy and behavioral therapy. Shoes with elevated soul under front is useful. If no improvement please consult with your orthopedician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
