How To Treat Under Weight In A Child?
A friend stated that her daughter's higher eye glass prescription (2 points higher) is due to her recent growth spurts. She also feels that her daughter's 12 BMI is Ok================ I am concerned about her daughter's weight (she is 12 and wears a 6 year old's size) but she does not see her daughter as being too thin. Hi..what is the height and weight of the child? Also what are the dietary habits?Her BMI appears to be on lower side. It can be because of improper dietary habits or due to some chronic underlying infection. Please provide the details.
